The function of the Waco Association of REALTORS®, Inc. is to serve the Membership with education, professional competence, public awareness, political involvement and social activities. The end product is service to the public.

Get Involved

WAOR Committees

WAOR members can serve on any of our active committees. Each committee plays a vital role in shaping our association.

Budget & Finance Committee

Formulates financial planning recommendations, oversees investment management, and prepares the annual budget for Board approval.

Bylaws Committee

Reviews and recommends changes to the Board's By-Laws and MLS Rules & Regulations to keep them current with NAR and TAR requirements.

Education Committee

Provides members with education programs, promotes designation courses from TAR and NAR, and delivers the yearly calendar of CE classes.

Events & Social Committee

Creates the annual plan for all membership meetings and events, coordinating and promoting activities throughout the year.

Legislative Committee

Actively monitors City, County, and State activities impacting REALTORS®, conducts interviews with elected officials, and recommends endorsements.

MLS Committee

Maintains MLS Rules & Regulations and Policies as prescribed by NAR and TAR, and handles decisions on MLS violations.

Membership Committee

Reviews new member applications, promotes attendance at association functions, and keeps membership informed of growth in our service area.

Nominating Committee

Responsible for selecting candidates through an election process to serve on the WAOR Board of Directors.

REALTOR® Image Committee

Builds relationships between REALTORS® and the community through outreach programs, promoting a positive image across the Waco area.

TREPAC Committee

Solicits TREPAC support from members, educates membership on its importance, and coordinates TREPAC fundraising events throughout the year.

YPN — Young Professionals Network

The voice of rising REALTORS® focused on personal growth, networking, and association involvement. Encourages young professionals to engage at local, state, and national levels.
